Job summary

Taino Mechanical Contractors in New York is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with 6–8 years of field experience to install and service oil and gas boilers, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems. Must live in Long Island, NYC, Yonkers or Mt.

Vernon. Candidates should read electrical schematics, troubleshoot power and control circuits, have an in‑depth understanding of refrigerant cycles, possess EPA certification, and be skilled at installing and supporting ductwork and piping.

Responsibilities

• Install and service oil and gas boilers, furnaces, and ductless systems.
• Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot power/control circuits.
• Install and support ductwork, black pipe, copper pipe, PVC pipe and piping supports.
• Maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check.

Must live in Long Island, NYC, Yonkers or Mt. Vernon. This not a helpers position. We are looking for a HVAC Technician having a minimum of 6-8 years field experience in installing and servicing the following: Oil and gas fired Boiler's, Oil and gas fired Furnaces, Ductless mini split systems. Must have skills:

Know how to read electrical schematics.

Know how to trouble shoot power supply voltages and control circuits.

Indepth understanding of refrigerant cycles.

Be EPA certified.

Is a craftsmen in what they do, this should be visible in the quality of their work.

Have a real I.D and or passport.

Can pass a backround check going back 10 years.

Can organize and run a job site efficiently.

Has installation of duct work experience.

Must have experience in working with Black pipe, Copper pipe, PVC Pipe, Victaulic pipe, threading pipe and properly installing and supporting pipe.

Must have a desire to learn new industry technologies and skills. Have a clean drivers record over the last 5 years. Can keep vehicles organized. Trustworthy. On time and punctual. Position comes with on the job training. We are looking for Team members that are not afraid of responsibility and love what they do. Position requires 2 Saturdays a month, Monday-Friday hours usually consist of 10-12 hours per day during peek season. Over time pay available.
