Job summary

Harris Health in Houston is seeking a facilities engineer to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other infrastructure systems.

The role requires a Journeyman license or equivalent, plus up to ten years of related experience; a Texas driver's license and plumbing/electrical licenses are highly preferred. Strong reading of blueprints and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED; ability to read, write, and comprehend English; pass a required skill assessment.
• Associate's Degree highly preferred.
• Journeyman level license or equivalent certification, or City of Houston 1st Grade Stationary Engineering licensure.
• Valid Texas Driver's License preferred; plumbing or electrical license highly preferred.
• Four years building maintenance experience; ten years in facilities engineering, maintenance, plumbing or electrical work highly preferred.
• Management experience not required; three years of leadership preferred.
