EXCEL Group in Hankinson, ND is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities. You will troubleshoot complex issues, interpret blueprints, and ensure safety standards across production lines.

The role involves working with PLCs and VFDs, performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, and coordinating with maintenance teams. Candidates should have strong knowledge of NFPA 70E/NEC guidelines and be able to read schematics

• Electrical Installations: perform complex installations including power distribution, control panels, motors, transformers, and other components.
• Electrical Maintenance: schedule and execute inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Electrical Repairs: troubleshoot malfunctions and replace defective components to minimize downtime.
• Electrical Upgrades: propose and implement upgrades to improve efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Control Systems: work with PLCs and other control systems to program and optimize processes.

• Blueprints and Schematics: interpret diagrams to plan accurate work.

EXCEL Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electricians to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial facilities. Your expertise in industrial electrical work, adherence to safety standards, and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues will be critical in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our clients' industrial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Installations: Perform complex electrical installations, including power distribution systems, control panels, motors, transformers, and other industrial electrical components.
• Electrical Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure uninterrupted production.
• Electrical Repairs: Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and issues in industrial equipment and systems. Efficiently repair or replace defective components to minimize downtime.
• Electrical Upgrades: Propose and implement electrical system upgrades and modifications to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with industrial standards.
• Control Systems: Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other industrial control systems to program, troubleshoot, and optimize processes.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, to maintain a safe working environment.
• Code Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with relevant industrial electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance teams, engineers, and production personnel to coordinate electrical work and support industrial operations.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history for documentation and future reference.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician, with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical components, power distribution, control systems, and automation.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical issues and using electrical testing equipment.
• Familiarity with industrial codes and standards, such as NFPA 70E and NEC.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience working with PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in an industrial environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and supervisors effectively.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces or at heights as required in industrial settings.
