Job description

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Journeyman O6 Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of commercial building automation systems. This role requires a solid understanding of basic electronic theory and Building Electrical / Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Install, wire, and maintain BMS and other electrical systems in compliance with electrical codes and standards.
  2. Study plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine installation requirements and sequence.
  3. Repair and maintain low voltage systems (under 120V).
  4. Assist in delivering BAS solutions within the Construction/Operation Department.
  5. Support site commissioning, point-to-point verifications, troubleshooting, and startup of Building Automation Systems.
  6. Handle testing and electrical repair tools and equipment appropriately.
  7. Perform tasks with minimal supervision, adhering to health and safety policies.
  8. Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality system operating procedures.
  9. Understand the fundamentals of HVAC systems and digital controls in commercial buildings.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  1. Valid Driver’s license.
  2. Fluent in English, both written and oral.
  3. Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and documentation.
  4. Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and work at heights.
  5. Good knowledge of the electrical trade and Washington State Electrical Code.
  6. Adept at installing conduit and pulling wire.
Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly wage is $41.86, with 80 hours of vacation, 40 hours of PTO, and 40 hours of statutory holidays.
