Job summary

A-American Electric is seeking a skilled Electrician to support residential, commercial, and government projects across Western North Carolina. You will work independently within a faith-based team culture while contributing to a stable schedule and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of electrical installation and repair experience.
• Valid journeyman card or NC license or higher.
• Current OSHA, NFPA70E, CPR, and lift/bucket truck certifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply trade math accurately.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems per NEC.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for field wiring.
• Operate bucket trucks, lifts, and lull equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and keep work areas clean.
• Mentor apprentices in safety and techniques.
• Communicate progress to project managers and foremen.
