Job summary

Geneva Rock Products is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across industrial, commercial, and residential settings in Utah. You will work with the Electrical Foreman and production team to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant operations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, a Utah Journeyman license, and familiarity with PLC controls.

Qualifications

Completion of an apprenticeship program and Journeyman Electrician certification.
3+ years of electrical installation and repair in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
Valid Utah State Journeyman Electrician License.
Familiarity with PLC controls and Relay Logic.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards.
Basic computer skills (MS Office).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, if required.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and residential sites.
Work independently or with a team to ensure safety and code compliance.
Read schematics and blueprints to plan work.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
Log time and resources in E360.
Travel between Wasatch Front locations as needed.
Mentor apprentices or junior electricians.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Ensure a clean and safe work area and follow safety protocols.
