Job summary

Interstates is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for projects around Aberdeen, SD. You will install, wire, and troubleshoot electrical systems on industrial facilities, travel within a 200-mile radius, and mentor up to four apprentices as site safety and quality matter.

Qualifications

State issued journeyman electrician license (or equivalent).
Industrial electrical experience required.
Knowledge of BIM/VDC Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing conduit.
Overseeing, or participating in, wire installations with conduit & cable tray.
Connecting power to equipment.
Ability to lead/develop up to 4 apprentice electricians.
Knowledge of other construction trades.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs in construction work environment.
Ability to climb, and maintain balance, on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools.
May be exposed to high and precarious places.
Risk of electrical shock and outside weather conditions.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required.
Other duties may be assigned.
