Jobot is seeking a licensed Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician to join our residential service team in the Madison area. You will troubleshoot, service, and upgrade electrical systems, working directly in homeowners' homes from start to finish.
The role emphasizes safety, professional communication, and high-quality craftsmanship across projects like panel upgrades, EV chargers, and smart-home installations.
Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License required.
- 2+ years of residential electrical experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues.
- Perform service calls, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Install and upgrade panels, breakers, switches, outlets, lighting, and wiring.
- Complete panel upgrades, service changes, remodel wiring, and code corrections.
- Install EV chargers and standby generators.
- Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and document work.
- Maintain organized service vehicle and safety standards.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship with strong safety and customer focus.
