Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and at least five years of heavy industrial electrical repair experience, plus an approved apprenticeship or equivalent training.

• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install motors, switchgear, control circuits, generators, lighting, batteries, chargers, inverters, and other industrial electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, sketches, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Inspect electrical equipment and identify maintenance or safety concerns.

AECI's New Madrid Power Plant is looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install electrical equipment throughout the power plant while working alongside a skilled team in a safety-focused industrial environment.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install motors, switchgear, control circuits, generators, lighting, batteries, chargers, inverters, and other industrial electrical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical prints, sketches, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Inspect electrical equipment and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Perform rigging and work from heights as required.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least five years of heavy industrial electrical repair experience, completion of an approved apprenticeship, or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment testing.
