Cummings Electrical in Fort Worth, TX is seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our team. You will read blueprints, determine wire sizing, install conduit, troubleshoot systems, and terminate panels while upholding strict safety standards.

• Experience in commercial/industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Read in-depth blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Determine pull box/J-box size based on wiring.
• Size wires based on amperage and voltage drop.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Bend and install conduit 3 inches or larger.
• Terminate inside transformers, switchgear, generators and panels.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Stand, walk and perform physical tasks for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Read in-depth blueprints (mechanical, layout/on-line drawings)
• Determine size of pull box or J-box based on wires inside or passing through
• Size wire based on amperage and voltage drop.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems (equipment, devices, conduit wires)
• Bend and install 3” or greater conduit
• Terminate inside of Transformers, Switchgears, Generators and UP’s, Lighting control panel and Control Panels
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during scheduled shifts
• Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching, and climbing as required by job duties

Qualifications
