Journeyman Electrician - Prism Electric, Inc. Prism Electric, Inc. is one of the most successful open-shop electrical contracting companies in Texas and Oklahoma. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for learning and applying electrical code requirements through the NEC, assembling, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical equipment in commercial and industrial settings, and maintaining a safe work environment on construction projects as part of the Prism Electric team.
Physical requirements: The job involves working in all elements, depending on location and season. Wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses). Respirator when required. Schedule: 8–10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime and night shifts as needed. Physical work is primary (more than 70%), including crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting objects over 50 pounds; repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers.
