Job summary

SolarGaines is seeking licensed journeyman electricians to carry out electrical work on solar projects in the Delaware/Maryland area. Candidates should have experience with both simple and complex electrical systems and the ability to read technical blueprints.

The role encompasses duties like installing wiring and working under the National Electrical Code. We offer competitive pay ranging from $30 to $60 per hour, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Experience working on simple and complex electrical systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DC electrical.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Installation of code-compliant electrical work on solar projects.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Coach/Teach apprentices and more junior electricians.

Skills

Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

Experience reading blueprints and plans

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Comfortable working from elevated environments

Experience in renewable energy field

Education

Journeyman electrician

OSHA 10 certification

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
