Britten Lift and Installation Services, a veteran-owned, family business that has been serving customers for 20 years, is seeking a skilled professional to lead our installation team and help us continue our tradition of installing signage that lasts and looks great!

Responsibilities:

As a Journeyman Electrician/Sign Electrician with leadership responsibilities, you'll be an essential part of our installation team, guiding your crew to accomplish daily tasks while always following strict safety protocols. Your duties will include:

• Leading and supervising a team during the installation of various types of commercial signage, including raceways, post and panels, flex faces, monuments, vinyl, and more.
• Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members, passing down electrical and installation knowledge.
• Performing and overseeing electrical connections and troubleshooting for illuminated signage.
• Operating equipment such as aerial lifts (comfort with heights is essential for this field labor position).
• Performing physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and working with tools.
• Traveling for out-of-town projects, mostly regional and drivable distances, approximately 50% of the time.
• When not traveling, servicing our valued customers in the greater San Antonio, Texas area.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring your team does the same.
• Maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic, setting an example for the crew.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience as a Sign Electrician.
• Proven leadership experience with a willingness to train and mentor a crew.
• Comfort (with heights) and experience operating aerial lifts.
• Strength (lifting heavy objects) and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Mobility (working from aerial lifts).
• Willingness (to travel) for regional, drivable projects about 50% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
