Rodenhiser Home Services Inc. is seeking a skilled electrician to diagnose and repair electrical systems, guiding customers to informed buying decisions. You will complete residential service calls, build trust with clients, and help them select finance options and maintenance plans.

The role requires a Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License, strong safety knowledge, and the ability to mentor apprentices while maintaining a neat job site. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License is required.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and proper safety standards.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Ability to take timely action to solve problems using established policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand policy manuals, safety, rules, and procedures.
• Engaged in further technical development (cross-training).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to take direction and/or technical instruction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and lead customers to informed, confident buying decisions.
• Complete residential service calls.
• Establish customer rapport to instill confidence in the team and sell the right products and services.
• Ask lifestyle questions to troubleshoot heating and cooling system malfunctions.
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans.
• Exceed minimum KPI goals.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
