Job Overview

The Electrical Journeyman - Prefabrication is responsible for installing high-quality electrical field work and taking measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency. The position reports directly to the field foreman.

Responsibilities

• Work in our Prefabrication Shop
• Train apprentices to develop their skills
• Contribute to a variety of projects such as data centers, water processing plants, casinos, residential-commercial high-rises, pharmaceutical plants, and more
• Focus on safety, operate industry-standard equipment, organize tasks for apprentices, use formulas for pipe fill, device and panel sizing, plan and manage materials, among other tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years documented field work or completion of a 4-year electrical apprentice program
• Strong understanding of the electrical industry, including controls, PLC, motors, threading GRC
• Team-oriented with leadership qualities and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
• Motivated to continue education and professional growth
• Willing to travel within a 50-mile radius to various job sites
