The Walt Disney Company is seeking an Electrical Technician for the Electrician Power Systems role at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electric utility distribution and industrial systems across our parks and hotels.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid Florida driver's license and a Journeyman Electrician credential with 5+ years in industrial/utility settings, able to read schematics and blueprints, and capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Florida driver's license.
• Qualified Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in industrial/utility environments.
• Experience in power distribution, generation systems, and controls.
• Familiarity with OSHA and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with protective relaying and motor control (VFDs).

Responsabilités

• Safely operate electric utility power distribution protection and industrial electrical systems.
• Provide emergency response and service restoration in outage conditions.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
