Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year electrical experience with Journeyman's Card.
• 4 years electrical experience without Journeyman's Card or complete Gerdau Monroe Mill Apprenticeship Program.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate or service electrical devices and systems.
• Plan work procedures, determine material needs and troubleshoot problems.
• Assemble, inspect, repair or replace faulty electrical parts and wiring.
• Inspect, test and adjust equipment for safe operation; start up/down plant equipment.
• Maintain and repair motor controls, starters and VFDs/DC drives; read PLC schematics.
