Job summary

X3 is hiring licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term data center project in Cedar Rapids, IA. If you're an experienced commercial or industrial electrician with strong conduit, switchgear, energization, and commissioning skills, this is a high-profile project worth your time. Schedule features 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 8 hours Saturday.

No Sunday work. Pay is up to $57/hr with per diem of $178/day for all scheduled shifts. Location is Cedar Rapids, IA.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License or reciprocal license
• 7+ years commercial/industrial electrical experience (4+ recent years)
• Conduit, cable tray, wiring, switchgear installation experience
• Experience with energization, switching, AutoLOTO, and load bank connections/removals
• Experience supporting Level 3–Level 5 commissioning
• Troubleshoot, test, commission, and maintain commercial electrical systems
• Blueprints/one-line diagram/schematic reading skills
• Working knowledge of NEC and job-site safety requirements
• OSHA 10 certification
• Ability to mentor apprentices and coordinate with foremen/superintendents/PMs

X3 is hiring licensed Journeyman Electricians for a long-term data center project in the Cedar Rapids area. If you're an experienced commercial or industrial electrician with strong conduit, switchgear, energization, and commissioning skills, this is a high-profile project worth your time.

Schedule:

12-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 8 hours Saturday. No Sunday work.

Pay:

Up to $57/hr

Per Diem:

$178/day worked. Complete all scheduled shifts and get per diem for all seven days.

What We're Looking For

• Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License or qualifying reciprocal license (AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, or WY)
• 7+ years commercial or industrial electrical experience, including 4+ recent years commercial
• Conduit, cable tray, wiring, switchgear, and electrical equipment installation experience
• Experience with first-time energization, switching, AutoLOTO, and load bank connections/removals
• Experience supporting Level 3 through Level 5 commissioning
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, commission, and maintain commercial electrical systems
• Blueprint, one-line diagram, schematic, and installation plan reading skills
• Working knowledge of NEC and job-site safety requirements
• OSHA 10 certification
• Strong coordination with foremen, superintendents, PMs, and other trades
• Ability to mentor apprentices and keep the crew safe and productive
• Willingness to travel regionally when required
• 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, 7-year background check, I-9, and E-Verify
