Enterprise Electrical is seeking Journeyman Electricians for a Mission Critical Data Center project in Monroe, LA. You will lead electrical install work, mentor apprentices, and ensure safety and code compliance on demanding data-center environments.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in commercial electrical construction, experience with data centers, and the ability to read blueprints and one-lines. On-site travel to Cedar Rapids, IA for 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid electrical journeyman or master license.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical construction projects related to data centers.
• Proven experience in Mission Critical Data Center projects is mandatory.
• Thorough understanding of NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and essential electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and one-line diagrams.
• Willingness to travel and be on-site for 6 months in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Installation & Construction: install, terminate, and test power distribution, conduit, cable trays, panelboards, switchgear, transformers, UPS.
• Perform feeder and branch circuit installations per drawings and specifications.
• Install grounding and bonding systems for data centers; read blueprints and schematics.
• Data Center scope: support build-outs, working around live systems with lockout/tagout and energized procedures.
• Safety & Compliance: follow OSHA/NEC/NFPA 70E; participate in JHAs and safety audits.
• Team & Project Support: mentor apprentices, coordinate with foremen and QA/QC, meet project schedules.

Enterprise Electrical is looking for skilled Journeyman Electricians to assist with field operations on a Mission Critical Data Center project in Monroe, LA. This role is vital for guaranteeing that electrical installations are carried out safely, efficiently, and meet the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of experience in commercial electrical construction, with demonstrated experience in mission critical / data center environments. As a Journeyman, you will conduct advanced electrical tasks, aid in crew coordination, mentor apprentices, adhere to all safety protocols, and ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and relevant electrical codes.

Incentives and Project Perks

• Journeyman (7+ years proven experience): $42 - 48 per / Hr.
• Daily Per Diem:$150 (Paid daily, 7 days a week)
• Retention Bonus: $5.00 per hour
• Standard Schedule:6/10's

Responsibilities

• Electrical Installation & Construction
  • Install, terminate, and test electrical systems including:
  • Power distribution
  • Conduit (EMT, RMC, IMC)
  • Cable tray systems
  • Panelboards, switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems
  • Perform feeder and branch circuit installations per drawings and specifications
  • Install grounding and bonding systems for mission-critical environments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, schematics, and specifications

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in data center environments (white space and gray space)

  • Participate in daily JHAs, toolbox talks, and safety audits
  • Identify hazards and stop unsafe work when conditions are not compliant
• Team & Project Support
  • Mentor and guide apprentices and helpers
  • Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, QA/QC, and other trades
  • Maintain productivity and quality standards to meet aggressive project schedules

• Strong familiarity with NEC and commercial electrical codes is essential.
• Capable of accurately bending, installing, and supporting conduit systems.
• Experience in large-scale power distribution and managing electrical rooms is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential.
• Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are a must.
• OSHA 10 certification is required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• NFPA 70E certification is preferred.
