Job summary

We Power America in Martinez, CA is seeking electricians for commercial and industrial projects. Openings for journey level and supervisory level workers, with overtime and full-time hours.

Install, maintain, and service electrical systems; expected pay is 28–45 USD per hour. All employer-paid benefits, including health insurance and retirement, are provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements, such as adding outlets or equipment.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure the safety of the work environment.
• Work closely with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs, ensuring quick response and resolution of critical issues.
