Viatris is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for Main Maintenance on the 3rd shift in St. Albans, Vermont. You will perform electrical maintenance, installations, preventive and corrective work on plant equipment, and coordinate downtime with production.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a Vermont Journeyman license (Master Electrician level considered). Familiarity with NEC codes, electrical testing, wiring diagrams, and safe isolation practices is essential for operation

Request down time for maintenance with Production personnel.* Analyze drawings and wiring diagrams to locate and install circuits and equipment and to determine materials and parts needed.* Plan and perform work requiring knowledge of electrical principles, wiring specifications, codes and properties of various materials.* undefined* Locate source of trouble in electrical equipment when needed, by tracing and testing circuits and inspecting for faulty operation.* Install conduit, fittings, switches, controls and fixtures. Wire and connect all types of electrical equipment as required for new installation or replacement of facilities, per the National Electrical Code.* Consider all safety precautions and the proper isolation of circuits to cause a minimum of interference to operations.* Clean up machinery and work area after performing maintenance functions.* Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Maintenance Department.* undefinedThe minimum qualifications for this role are:* Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of experience is required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.* Must possess a minimum of a Vermont State Journeyman License. **We will consider Master Electrician level depending on candidate qualifications.*** Must possess applicable knowledge of electrical testing equipment, e.g. ammeters, voltmeter, conduit-bending equipment, power hand tools and hand tools. Plant machinery and equipment, replacement parts, control cabinets, wiring, and conduit. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $66,560.00 - $88,000.00.
