Job summary

We Power America is seeking electricians to support commercial and industrial projects in the Waco area and across Texas. Openings span journey level and supervisory roles, with opportunities for progression on high-profile projects.

Positions include comprehensive benefits, ongoing training, and access to contractor-provided power tools, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
• Troubleshooting and repairs of electrical issues using a variety of tools and techniques
• Compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations
• Blueprint interpretation and reading schematics to plan installations and upgrades
• System upgrades and modifications to improve performance
• Adherence to safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures
• Collaboration with other contractors, engineers, and team members to meet deadlines and budgets
• Preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
• Emergency on-call electrical repairs and rapid response
