Carlton Electric, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to safely install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on commercial projects in the Denver area. You will read blueprints, install conduit, pull wires, and apply NEC standards while leading apprentices when needed.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and professional communication with clients. Valid Colorado JW license and ability to pass drug and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Colorado Journeyman Electrician (JW) license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be self-motivated, teachable, punctual, respectful, and able to follow direction.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems on commercial projects.
• Lead apprentices and guide small crews when assigned.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications; interpret NEC requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and PPE safely and effectively.
• Train apprentices in tool use and installation methods.
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.
