Job summary

We Power America in Charleston, WV is seeking experienced electricians for commercial/industrial projects. Foreman and supervisory Journeyman electricians are especially encouraged to apply.

Full-time positions include overtime, employer-paid health insurance and retirement, and contractor-provided power tools. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade electrical systems while ensuring code compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as electrician in commercial or industrial settings.
• Journeyman level with supervisory capability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using a range of tools.
• Ensure work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade existing electrical systems to meet requirements and improve performance.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time.
