Overview

Under the United States (U.S.) Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) GILE program, Team V2X provides global engineering, facilities, sustainment, and maintenance of intelligence systems, including integration of new technologies, portal management, hardware design, network management, technology development, and logistics support. Our mission is to enable INSCOM’s objectives and support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units worldwide.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

• Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50 lbs.
• Possess SME-level expertise in measuring electrical properties such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, electrical potential, and current flow.
• Familiar with the provisions and applications of the National Electric Code (NEC) and able to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams written under ANSI standards.
• Coordinate with local deployed and CONUS engineering departments to respond to critical requirements based on current system specifications.
• Have technical understanding of power generation operations and maintenance; certification from power generation manufacturers is preferred.

Qualifications

Education / Certifications:

• Vocational or High School diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience leading to licensure as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent license at a state level, OR
• Six years of experience in military or civilian electrician training/certification.

Security Clearance Requirement:

• Must be a US Citizen with Final Top-Secret Clearance based on a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility for access to SCI IAW ICD 704.
• Some positions may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially for access to TDN2.
