Job summary

Edge Electric is seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our Austin, TX team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical power, lighting, communication, and control systems across commercial and industrial sites.

You should have 5+ years of electrical experience, a Class A Tenant Improvement background, and a Journeyman license. Travel and overtime may be required; safety and quality matter daily.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Tenant Improvement experience (Class A).
• Ability to complete projects independently.
• Experience with lighting control systems.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• TDLR Journeyman Electrician License.
• Willingness to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other systems.
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and alarm systems.
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels).
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility.

Position Overview

We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team in Austin, TX. Our electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.

As a Journeyman you will:

• Overtime and extended hours may be necessary to meet deadlines
• Aerial lift operation proficiency required
