Journeyman Electrician Duties and Responsibilities :

• Ability to work independently with direction and material.
• Conduit bending of all types and sizes.
• Advanced knowledge of all equipment and tooling.
• Ability to install building systems (Fire alarm, security, low volt, lighting).
• Ability to follow basic wiring schematics (i.e. exhaust hood controls, emergency lighting, ballast installation, occupancy sensor, lighting contactors).
• Ability to calculate junction box sizes, conduit fill, and wire ways fills, grounding and bonding requirements.
• Ability to terminate distribution equipment i.e. switchboard MCC, transformers.
• Installation of mechanical room equipment and rooftop units.

Journeyman Electrician Requirements :

• 5+ year's electrical experience is required.
• Must be able and willing to travel to various job sites.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
