Job description

Join our team at KenMor Electric Company! KenMor Electric Company is an electrical contractor with proven expertise on large-scale construction projects. Its management team guides clients through all phases of planning, design, construction and project management for commercial, industrial and institutional markets. KenMor's work ranges from office buildings and multiuse developments to stadiums, arenas, shopping centers, restaurants, hospitals and industrial plants.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Performs installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment.
2. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
3. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
4. Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instruction.
5. Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
6. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
7. Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
8. Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the field organization.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Possesses valid State of Texas JMN Electrician License.
2. Possesses valid Driver’s License.
3. Four years of commercial electrical experience supporting similar key responsibilities, preferred.
4. Ability to work safely from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
5. Ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb in inclement weather with exposure to extreme cold, heat, noise & dust.
6. Ability to frequently lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 pounds of material & up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
