Job summary

Tessera, located near Junction City, Kansas – Fort Riley, is seeking an Electrician for a full-time day shift. The role involves repairing and maintaining electrical wiring, devices, and systems across facilities, with emphasis on safety, preventative maintenance, and adherence to NEC and IES standards.

Qualifications include three years of electrical experience; a Journeyman Electrician license is preferred. A valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of electrical experience required.
• Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
• Must have good manual dexterity and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all voltage electrical wiring, devices, and equipment from the main electrical meter.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and quality control on electrical/electronic systems.
• Ensure adequate lighting and restore fixtures to IES standards.
• Install and repair wiring and electrical components.
• Plan and layout repair work from diagrams and schematics.
• Record maintenance and repair work completed.
