Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to assist under a Master Electrician in the installation of power generation equipment and products.

You will read wire diagrams, trace wiring, install and wire electrical devices, and handle automatic transfer switches and standby generators. Responsibilities include pulling wire, bending conduit, troubleshooting, load testing generator packages, interpreting AC/DC wiring, and ensuring safety and quality across project

Qualifications

• Must have previous electrical experience, some on the job training is available
• High School Diploma or GED
• AC and DC electrical experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend conduit, install and wire up electrical devices
• Trace wiring and troubleshoot problems
• Assist in load testing generator packages
• Assist in other phases of preparation and setting of power generation equipment and products such as trenching, piping, mechanical components, civil assembly for setting power generation packages
• Read wiring diagrams
• Have a clear understanding of AC/DC WIRING as it pertains to duties
• Perform proper installation of all electrical equipment required to complete fabrication of projects (i.e. brackets, conduit, wiring, end devices, panels, etc.)
• Be proficient with measuring and electrical testing equipment
• Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions
• Perform other duties as assigned
