Job summary

PLATINUM ELECTRIC SERVICES INC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician Foreman to lead electrical crews on site. The role requires strong technical expertise and proven leadership to manage teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality and safety on installations.

Responsibilities include supervising electricians, reading blueprints, enforcing NEC/local codes, coordinating with contractors, performing hands-on electrical work, training apprentices, and contributing to project planning and job

Qualifications

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific).
  • 5–7 years electrical experience with 1–2 years in supervision or foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of the NEC and local codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specs.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient with hand/power tools, testing equipment, and safety gear.
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Strong understanding of job costing, scheduling, and workflow management.

  • Assist with project planning, material ordering, and job costing.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and less-experienced electricians.
