Job summary

Air Systems Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Journey Level Electrician for our Commercial Construction team in Washington. You will lay out, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial/industrial projects with a focus on safety and code compliance.

The role requires a Journey level EL-01 license, a WA driver’s license, and at least five years of related experience. Occasional after-hours work may be needed, with a company vehicle provided for some positions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Journey level Electrical EL-01 License.
• High school diploma or GED plus 5 years’ experience in the electrical trade with journey level experience working on commercial/industrial systems (installation, maintenance, and repair).
• Valid Washington State Driver's License.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Good working knowledge of current electrical standards and codes (NEC and RCW/WAC).

Responsibilities

• Layout and install electrical systems based on job specs, design, and local codes.
• Bend conduit and pull wire.
• Test electrical systems or troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions using test equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for hazards and compliance.
• Coordinate with builders, foremen and project managers during projects.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs in safe conditions.
