Job summary

The City of Orlando seeks an Electrician I to perform journey level electrical work at the Iron Bridge Regional Water Reclamation Facility and related sites in Oviedo, FL. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical components under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver's license, and access to a home or cell phone. Electrician II experience and credentials may apply for higher responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• Must have home or cell phone.
• Journeyman Electrician Competency card or equivalent for Electrician II (Orange County) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform journey level electrical/electronic work including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, machinery, and power appliances.
• Operate lighting for events at the KIA Center; handle related electrical tasks.
• Ensure compliance with acceptable electrical standards under supervision and during project review.
