Job summary

Atlantic Coast Staffing is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. You will ensure work complies with NEC and relevant codes, and may service streetlights or control systems.

Responsibilities include testing systems with meters, interpreting blueprints, and connecting wires to circuit breakers. Must have 5-7 years of experience and an active Virginia Journeyman license; prepared to travel to multiple job sites; pre-employment

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in electrical field.
• Active Virginia Journeyman Electrician License.
• Ability to follow electrical code manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Willing to travel to multiple job sites as assigned.
• Must pass post-offer drug screen and background checks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Test electrical systems and continuity with meters to ensure safety.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring and fixtures with hand/power tools.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair wiring.
• Interpret blueprints, NEC, and specifications.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers and transformers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
