Job summary

Suburban Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to lead field operations and ensure installations meet NEC and local codes. You will drive quality workmanship, mentor apprentices, and coordinate closely with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Wisconsin State Journeyman’s License.
• Must have 5+ years of electrical experience on either commercial, industrial, or residential jobsites.
• Must be capable of leading a small crew (2 – 5 technicians/electricians) effectively.
• Must have good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install all electrical equipment and material per the project’s requirements, National Electrical Code, and the requirements of state and local authorities.
• Apply and train to all codes, operating standards, practices and procedures.
• Handle customer contact between both internal and external customers and respond to their needs promptly.
• Coach and mentor apprentices on-site and facilitate the growth of others.
• Be responsible for the safety and well-being of jobsite. Coaching others on the importance of safety including team members, GCs, customers and other trades.
