Leisure World of Maryland Corporation (LWMC) seeks a Journeyman Electrician to perform installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems for our age-restricted community in Silver Spring, MD. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a starting pay rate of $32.00–$34.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualified applicants will hold a Maryland Journeyman license, complete a formal apprenticeship, and have 4–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship with on-the-job training.
• MD Journeyman Electrician license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install and maintain electrical wiring and systems.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine repair needs.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation of work.
