Job summary

MPOWER ELECTRIC INC is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in California. You will install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, and mentor apprentices on the job.

Candidates must have a Journeyman Electrician License, commercial project experience, valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed. Strong reading of plans and attention to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License required.
• Experience on commercial electrical projects preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Read and interpret plans, schematics and drawings.
• Bend conduit, pull wire, and terminate to build functioning systems.
• Troubleshoot to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Mentor junior electricians on the job.
• Travel and work away from home as needed.
• Provide accurate material lists for jobs.
• Write RFIs, Daily Reports, and basic emails.
• Interact with customers, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Proficient in reading plans and using project drawings.
