Job summary

Alianza is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support commercial and industrial projects in the Raleigh-Durham area. The role requires reading drawings, installing and repairing electrical systems, and taking ownership with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience, strong NEC knowledge, and the ability to lead 1-3 helpers or apprentices when needed. Competitive hourly pay applies across projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial/industrial construction
Strong understanding of electrical installation methods and basic electrical theory
Experience reading blueprints, schematics, layouts, and panels
Knowledge of NEC and safety standards (OSHA) preferred

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, modify, and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems
Install panels, disconnects, transformers, and lighting systems
Read blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
Coordinate work with foremen and other trades
Troubleshoot circuits and equipment; complete repairs and adjustments
Lead small team of helpers or apprentices when directed
