We Power America is seeking experienced electricians for Birmingham, AL, including foreman and supervisory Journeyman roles. Positions cover installation, maintenance, and upgrades in commercial and industrial settings with emphasis on safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as electrician in commercial/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Provide on-call support for emergency electrical repairs.

Job Responsibilities for Commercial and Industrial Electrician:
