Job summary

Midtown Electric in Reno, Nevada is seeking a hard-working electrician with at least 5 years of residential electrical experience. You will take pride in quality workmanship, customer service, and professional conduct within a collaborative team.

We offer a typical 4-day work week (Mon-Thu, 7am–5pm), paid vacation and holidays after probation, a 401k with company match, and potential relocation assistance. OSHA 30 course fees may be covered if needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years residential electrical experience.
• OSHA 10 minimum (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Journeyman certification is a plus.
• Experience with lighting control systems (Lutron) is a plus.
• Driver’s license required.
• Previous electrical and/or construction experience.
• Must provide your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components in residential settings.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues.
• Ensure work complies with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
• Complete required documentation of repairs and service information.
• Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and parts.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
