Job Description

Seeking motivated and reliable Journeyman/Mechanic Electricians for ongoing long-term commercial projects. Competitive compensation, benefits and opportunities for career growth. Gain hands-on experience, develop your technical skills and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Able to perform all phases of electrical service in new construction, renovation and maintenance including wiring, switch gear, ATS, feeders and branch circuits, conduit and device install.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems’ wiring, devices and panels to diagnose and repair issues.
  • Measure, cut and bend conduit and pull all applicable wiring.
  • Capability to oversee projects and manage crews.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with Customers and Company Leadership.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
  • Responsible for completing paperwork on-time, including timesheets, work orders, on-site documentation, and project status reports which will be delivered to Site Foreman or Project Managers.

Education and Qualifications

  • Apprentice and Journeyman License or 4+ years in the commercial field
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Company vehicle may be provided

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual and listening skills.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
  • Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to pull cables.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: $22 to $36 per hour
  • Type: Full time, hourly and overtime
