Job Summary:

As a Journeyman Electrician at Ironworks, you will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with experienced professionals to develop and enhance your skills in repairing, installing, and inspecting electrical systems. This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated to learn, have a strong work ethic, and aspire to become a skilled Journeyman Electrician.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and troubleshoot various electrical systems.

• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.

• Perform regular maintenance and preventative techniques to preserve system functionality.

• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes.

• Collaborate with construction and engineering teams on new installations.

• Preparing sketches and schematics of wiring systems.

• Technical skills in electrical code and electrical systems.

• Attend training sessions, workshops, and classes to further develop technical skills and industry knowledge.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.

• comply with all safety laws, codes, and regulations to protect the safety and health of all employees.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in the Electrician trade.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Enrolled in or completed a recognized apprenticeship program.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position may require occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand.
