Overview




GKG is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team for an upcoming contract award in support of INSCOM.






Responsibilities




    Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift 50lbs.
  • Subject matter expertise level capability of measuring electrical properties such as resistance, inductance, capacitance, electrical potential and current flow.
  • Subject matter expertise level familiarity with provisions and applications of the National Electric Code and ability to select and install domestic and foreign materials and devices under the NEC.
  • Fluent in English including ability to read, write and comprehend technical documentation, schematics and diagrams written under the ANSI standards.
  • Liaison with local deployed and CONUS engineering departments to maintain immediate response to critical requirements resulting from analysis of current specification data on assigned systems.
  • Technical understanding of power generation operation and maintenance, certification from power generation manufacturer preferred.
  • Other duties as assigned.





Qualifications




  • Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) IAW ICD 704.
  • Vocational or High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years' experience leading to licensure as a Journeyman Electrician or equivalent license at a state level; or six years' experience in an equivalent Military or civilian equivalent Electrician training/certification.
  • US Citizen.
