Job summary

Jet Industries Inc. is seeking an experienced journeyman electrician to install electrical distribution equipment, panels, and lighting on our construction projects. You will run in-ground conduits, read blueprints, and work with wiring systems on-site in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels.
• Installation of in-ground conduits.
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems.
• Installations of wiring, including NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit systems.
• Installation of low-voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices.
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Operates a variety of equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic hardware.
• Reads and follows project plans to ensure compliant electrical work.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Installation of in-ground conduits
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
• Installations of wiring, including but not limited to NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
• Installation of low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operates a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Operates various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments
• Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• Oregon Journeyman's License.
• Basic Proficiency in English required. Candidates must have a basic understanding of English for safety purposes and to communicate with colleagues, vendors, and contractors on-site effectively. The ability to follow instructions and engage with the team is essential for success in this role.
