Journeyman Electrician
The Electrician will be responsible for inspections, repairs, installations, and maintaining electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. They will ensure all work performed meets the required safety codes.

Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and understanding of specifications and drawings.
- Adhere to applicable electrical codes.
- Plan and layout new or renovation projects with minimal waste.
- Read, interpret, and understand diagrams or blueprints.
- Install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components following electrical codes, manuals, specifications, schematics, and blueprints.
- Install and repair control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit-breaker panels, etc.
- Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machinery and equipment in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment using testing instruments.
- Test circuit continuity to ensure safety and compatibility of components.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using appropriate tools.
- Receive and complete work orders efficiently.
- Select materials and hardware, and estimate time and costs accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of materials and labor used.
- Inspect completed jobs and ensure work areas are clean.
- Collaborate with principals and supervisors to complete projects successfully.
- Operate tools and equipment following safety procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition.
- Follow safety procedures, including lifting and climbing, to perform duties safely.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors.
Education and Experience
- Valid Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman license (preferred).
- 5-7 years of electrical experience.
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial settings.
- Experience with industrial power and controls is a plus.
