Overview

Journeyman / Lead Electrician – Commercial and Residential Projects

We are seeking an experienced, professional Journeyman/ Lead Electrician who can lead our commercial and residential projects, managing projects from start to finish while working hands-on as part of the team. This role requires expertise in all aspects of electrical work, including site walks, construction reviews, inspections, quality checks, and safety oversight. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial project timelines, ground-up construction electrical, and tenant improvement (TI) work, as well as the ability to effectively read blueprints and ensure compliance with electrical codes.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical work while simultaneously managing projects with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and oversee hands-on electrical installations across commercial and residential projects.
  • Manage projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and completion, with a focus on quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Conduct site walks and construction reviews to ensure readiness and accuracy of electrical installations.
  • Participate in the project planning phase, coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth execution.
  • Perform detailed inspections and maintain quality control and safety standards for all electrical work.
  • Understand and plan around commercial project timelines, ensuring that projects stay on schedule.
  • Work on ground-up construction electrical systems as well as tenant improvement (TI) projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site electrical issues promptly.
  • Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices while working on-site as part of the team.
Qualifications
  • Licensed electrician (Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred).
