Position Overview:

We are seeking Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team in Austin, TX. Our electricians install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Executing electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom, and other systems
• Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures, and alarm systems
• Installing safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels)
• Connecting wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility
• Assembling and installing conduits, then connecting wiring through them
• Performing preventative maintenance by inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables
• Diagnosing electrical hazards or malfunctions and repairing or replacing damaged units

Requirements:

• 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings
• Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)
• Ability to complete projects from start to finish independently
• Experience with lighting control systems
• Proficiency in conduit installation, wiring, panel systems, and troubleshooting
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
• Willingness to pass a drug screening

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to accurately identify wires and perform electrical tests
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of circuits and electrical systems
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines

• Overtime and extended hours may be necessary to meet deadlines
• Aerial lift operation proficiency required
