Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues and implement efficient solutions to minimize downtime.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical work adheres to NEC, local building codes, and safety standards.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor apprentices and electricians on job sites to ensure safe, effective work practices.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project closeouts.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and help maintain a safe work environment for the entire crew.
• Travel: Be prepared for up to 25% or more travel time on certain projects.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Current Edge Solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale electrical projects within commercial, industrial, and utility sectors. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring adherence to electrical codes and safety regulations. • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environments, including outdoor and high-altitude locations, and lift heavy materials as needed.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve complex electrical issues.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.

• Certifications: NEC, OSHA, and 70E certifications (required).
