We are looking to hire a Journeyman Electrician with 5+ years of experience in commercial electrical services. Our projects include tenant improvements, medical office improvements, industrial service, commercial service, and residential service. This position requires a clean driving record.

The employee must have excellent troubleshooting skills.

The Journeyman Electrician reports directly to the project Foreman, who coordinates work activity with the field crew.

This is a field position involving a wide variety of hands-on construction and installation work for electrical projects as assigned.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform construction and installation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects.
2. Execute skilled work demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency.
3. Repair malfunctions by replacing burned-out elements, fuses, and defective wiring.
4. Test electrical equipment, such as motors, heaters, and controls, for safety and efficiency using standard testing equipment.
5. Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment.
6. Inspect circuits for proper shielding and grounding.
7. Work responsibly using personal and company-provided tools and equipment.
8. Follow all established safety standards in performing job duties.
9. Locate and diagnose electrical malfunctions using test equipment.
