Service/Maintenance Support

Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a Master Electrician, the Journeyman Electrician performs skilled electrical work in the installation, inspection, alteration, testing, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Trade School diploma with courses in blueprint reading, electricity, mathematics, and physics preferred.
2. License/Certifications: State license as a Journeyman Electrician required. A Boiler Operator license within 12 months of start date is preferred. Valid Driver's License required.
3. Experience: At least four years of institutional, commercial, or industrial wiring experience required.
